According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have not given up on signing Radu Dragusin and are continuing to monitor the centre-back situation after failing to sign him in January.
Dragusin has not had the easiest start to his Tottenham career, having struggled to get off to a good start since joining the club from Genoa in January.
Earlier this week, The Sun reported that Napoli could make a shock move to sign him from Spurs just months after arriving in north London.
The paper added that Tottenham would only consider leaving the Romanian this summer if they received an offer of around £40 million.
However, Football Insider denied the claims on Tuesday, insisting Spurs have no intention of letting the 22-year-old leave this summer and expect him to be given plenty of chances next season.
Napoli still aiming to sign Radu Dragusin
Corriere revealed that Napoli have not given up on Dragusin just yet and “remain interested” in the centre-back.
The Serie A side were very keen to sign the player in January and even accepted an offer from Tottenham, but the defender is understood to have opted for the Premier League side instead.
The magazine continued to praise the former Genoa player and added that although he is not a top target for a centre-back, they would be willing to bring him back to Italy under “the right financial circumstances”.

Dragusin did well against Man City and will likely keep his place in the starting eleven against Sheffield United. The centre-half could therefore finish the season strongly, and it is hard to see him budging for a move this summer, and it seems unlikely that Spurs would be considering an offer for the 22-year-old. do not have.
